How do you design a logo for a Scottish couple running a bookshop in a town with Scottish heritage?
You combine images of a book and a stag with stylised Celtic knots!
Caitlin and Ailwyn were looking for a vintage look to fit in with their Strathalbyn location, but something modern and pretty enough to use on things like bags, bookmarks and t-shirts.
I also partnered the image up with an elegant serif typeface with a discreet little flourish on the ‘K’ – a nod to the creativity and knowledge that goes into their carefully curated collection of books.
